In an abundance of caution, we will be canceling the Outdoor Ethics Guide Course because these events bring a number of Scouters together. We will be issuing full refunds to any training session that required payment to everyone by the end of the month.

Outdoor Ethics is BSA’s program for making responsible decisions that reduce our impacts on the land while preserving the quality of the recreational experience.

Outdoor Ethics Guide is a youth leadership position of responsibility that fulfills for the leadership requirements of Star, Life, and Eagle ranks. It offers a unique opportunity to help your unit make choices that reduce impacts to our natural environment.

The Outdoor Ethics Guide Advisor is an adult that supports the Scouts in this leadership position.

This course includes basic information on putting Leave No Trace into practice along with resources to expand your knowledge. It will help you become better aware of the responsibilities and options to use to help your unit understand how to make choices that reduce our outdoor impacts
