SCOUTStrong Rules:
- Race numbers are required to take part in the race. If you do not have a bib or running with another person’s bib, you will be disqualified from the race.
- Phones & Other Audio Devices – We recommend that you do not use iPods or other audio devices during the race. Choosing to use an audio device will compromise your safety and that of others. If you are unable to hear verbal instructions or commands, approaching vehicles because of your device, you may be asked to relinquish it. Please use consideration and good judgment in this area.
- Strollers are allowed but must start at the rear of the start.
TIming Information:
- Chips will be attached to your race bib, your will receive at packet pick-up/registration on Saturday morning starting at 7:00am
- Your bib must be worn at all times or you will not be scored in the event.
- Chip Timing is provided by Second Wind Race Timing.

Race Awards:
- Custom SCOUTStrong awards will be given to ALL registered participants of either the 5k or the 1M Fun Run/Walk
- Age category awards for the 5k run given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following: 0-10, 11-17, 18-25, 26-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 70+
Registration Information:
- Packet Pick-Up/Registration begins at 7:00 am – 7:45am

- Cost:
- EAGLE Sponsor: $1,000.00 – Premium-sized logo on race shirts, mile markers, start or finish line sign, and advertising in race promotions. Includes 5 free registrations to the event.
- LIFE Sponsor: $500.00 – Logo on race shirts, mile markers, start or finish line sign, and advertising in race promotions. Includes 3 free registrations to the event.
- STAR Sponsor: $250.00 – Logo on race shirt. Includes 2 free registrations to the event.
- SCOUT Sponsor: $100.00 – Name printed on race shirt. (This can be family name, unit name, company name). Includes one free registration to the event.
- 5K Entrance Fee: $30.00 prior to October 14th , $35.00 on race day.
- 1M Entrance Fee: $25.00 prior to October 14th , $30.00 on race day.

- 8:30 am 5K Road Race Begins

Weather Policy:
- In the event of inclement weather, the event will be postponed as long as possible in hopes the inclement weather will pass
