SUMMARY:Beyond The Basics Training
DESCRIPTION:Take your skills to the next level!\n“Beyond the Basics” is an optional training opportunity for adult Scout leaders who have taken BALOO (Basic Adult Leadership Outdoor Orientation) or IOLS (Introduction To Outdoor Leadership Skills)\, or other basic skills training and wish to take their outdoor skills to the next level. \n  \nThis workshop will offer six different tracks of outdoor skills: cooking\, camping\, hiking\, pioneering\, woods tools\, and fire building. Each track will offer six hours of instruction. Participants will be free to “choose their own adventure” and float between areas to work on the skills they have the most interest in. It’s a great chance to learn from experienced Scouters in a relaxed\, flexible\, hands-on environment. \n  \nWhen you register\, you’ll have the option of attending for the day ($18) includes lunch\, or stay overnight ($35) which includes dinner\, campfire\, camping\, breakfast\, and a Scouts’ Own worship workshop. \n
