SUMMARY:Camp Squanto - NYLT Camp
DESCRIPTION:National Youth Leadership Training will provide Boy Scout and Venture youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. \nThe exciting\, action-packed National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) course centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE\, what he or she must KNOW\, and what he or she must DO. The key elements are then taught with a clear focus on HOW TO. The skills come alive during the week as the patrol goes on a Quest for the Meaning of Leadership. NYLT is foremost a training program. While Scouts will use their scout craft and camping skills\, the emphasis is on leadership and management training. \nCamp Resolute and Squanto comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and are licensed by the Bolton and Plymouth Boards of Health. Eligibility \n  \nRegistration Deadline:  June 16\, 2018 \nPre-Requisites:  13 years old as of beginning of course\, 1st class Scout or Venturer\, Scoutmaster or Crew Advisor Approval\, Open to young men and young women. \n  \nThe Course concludes on Friday July 6\, 2018 with a 5pm graduation ceremony in the Ampitheatre to which family members are invited. Scout should be available to leave camp immediately following the ceremony.
