SUMMARY:Cub Scout Leader Training Festival
DESCRIPTION:In an abundance of caution\, we will be canceling the Cub Scout Leader Training Festival\, that is scheduled for May 2 because this event brings a large number of Scouters together. As might be expected with such a fluid set of circumstances\, we cannot give you a definitive date when or if the training will be rescheduled. We will be issuing full refunds to everyone by the end of the month.\n.\nRegistration deadline: the day before\, but we still allow walk-ins. \nThis event is for all Cub Scout leaders! Here’s what we’ll offer: \n– In-person position-specific training and youth protection training (YPT).\n– Workshops on topics such as the Lion program\, crafts\, skits and songs\, ceremonies\, working with youth with disabilities\, and more. \n\nLeader guides for sale\, registration materials\, and other resources to save you a trip to the council office or the Scout store.\nOutdoor cooking demos and a delicious lunch!\nFun activities for your Cub-age youth.\nA chance to meet fellow leaders and get resources to start the new year off strong!\n\nDrop in whenever you can! We’ll offer the most popular sessions multiple times. Lunch is $5; the rest is free. Registration is not required\, but we’d appreciate pre-registration so you can reserve your spot and help us plan food and supplies. \n  \nRegistration Opening Soon
