SUMMARY:Den Chief Training
DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for any Boy Scout or Venturer who is currently serving as a Den Chief or interested in becoming a Den Chief. It will cover: \n  \n\nThe roles and responsibilities of a Den Chief\nTips for working with Cub Scouts\nGames\, songs\, and other fun activities that you can bring back to your den\n\n  \nThis fun in-person training course offers a great chance to meet fellow Den Chiefs\, share ideas\, and “learn by doing.” Den Leaders are also welcome to sit in and learn how a Den Chief can help your den. \n  \nThe course fee covers training supplies\, handouts\, light refreshments\, and two patches (the “Trained” patch and the “Den Chief” position patch) for each scout. For an additional $6\, you can also choose to buy the BSA Den Chief Handbook. This option will save you a trip to the Scout Store and save a bit of money off of the regular retail price. \n  \nPlease wear your field (a.k.a. “Class A”) uniform. Pre-registration is required so we can make sure we have enough materials for everyone. \n  \nWe’re holding this course in conjunction with the Cub Scout Leader Training Festival. Lunch will be available after the training for an additional $5 (optional).  \n  \nRegistration Deadline:  September 27\, 2018
