SUMMARY:District Leadership Summit
DESCRIPTION:Calling all members of the Mayflower Council including council and district committee members\, unit leaders and all interested Scouters: \nAs part of Mayflower Council’s commitment to provide the promise of Scouting to the youth and families within our service area\, we invite you to a council -wide summit discussion on October 17\, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in Easton\, MA. \n\nAgenda and Goals \nThe opening session will provide an overview of the council and focus on common goals for all council and district committees.  This includes support for recruitment of adults\, membership growth\, unit support and resources. \nBreakout sessions will focus on best practices and planning for the upcoming year: \n\nActivities\nAdvancement\nCamping\nFundraising\nMembership\nProgram\nTraining\nUnit Commissioners and their role in unit service\nRole of Round Table Commissioners and District Chairs\nWrap up and summary\n\nPlease note\, there will not be individual district committee or commissioner meetings for the month of October. \n
