SUMMARY:Freeze Out
DESCRIPTION:The 2017 Freeze Out is full of winter fun and outdoor skills including:\n• Scouting skills\n• Cold weather camping/Winter survival skills\n• Saturday night Cracker-Barrel\n• Patrol themed events and competitions\, awards\n• And the traditional “Klondike Derby Sled Race” \nThis year’s theme is STAR WARS: Battle of Hoth\nView the field guide here.\nTroops/Crews will be staying in lean-to’s or winter tent camping. There will be a general meeting area and a warming station\, as well as contingencies prepared for inclement weather. Each participant will receive a 2017 Freeze Out patch and hat\, included with the registration fee. \nEach troop/crew should designate one scouter and one scout (SPL/ASPL) to serve on the Freeze Out planning committee. The event is limited so early registration is encouraged. \nRegistration Costs: $65 per troop (site fees are non-refundable) \n$25 per scout/scouter –  no registrations accepted after January 11\, 2017. \n
