SUMMARY:Introduction To Backpacking
DESCRIPTION:Adult leaders — would you like to build skills and confidence to take your Scouts camping where you do not have to rely on vehicle (or trailer) support? If so\, this training is for you! \nWe will carry everything in our backpacks\, set up a low impact campsite\, and practice Leave No Trace hiking\, camping\, patrol cooking\, and cleanup in the backcountry. \nPre-requisites:  Open to all BSA registered adults. Must be physically fit and able to backpack at least 3 miles with all personal gear plus a share of patrol gear and food. \nPatrol backpacking equipment (cooking\, etc.) and 2 meals provided. Attendees must provide their own personal backpacking equipment (to be discussed at pre-training meeting) and must bring Parts A and B of the BSA annual medical form. \n  \nRegistration has closed. \n  \nFlyer
