SUMMARY:Introduction To Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)
DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is an overnight hands-on training for Scouts BSA and Venturing leaders. It covers a variety of outdoor camping skills\, including cooking\, knots and lashings\, map and compass\, woods tools\, and more. Learn new skills\, reinforce old ones\, and build confidence to teach these skills to Scouts. For Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters\, this course is part of the requirements to earn the “Trained” patch. It is also part of the requirements for adult leaders of a Venturing Crew that runs an outdoor program.  \nThis version of the course will start on Saturday morning. We will have you on your way home by noon on Sunday. \nOut of council registrants = $30.00 \nRegistration Deadline = March 31\, 2019
