SUMMARY:Philmont 2018 Information Night
DESCRIPTION:Come and learn all about Mayflower Council’s 2018 Philmont Trek Trip. \nPhilmont Scout Ranch is the BSA’s premier High Adventure Base.  It covers over 200 square miles of the Sangre de Christo range of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico. Scouts will hike at least 50 miles over the course of 12 days and will build skills\, self confidence\, and explore new levels of teamwork \nThis information session will be aimed at giving Scouts and parents interested in the 2018 Philmont expedition the information they need to decide if joining the 2018 Philmont Council Contingent is right for them.  The evening will feature: \n\nA presentation from a father and son who made the trek together in 2016\nA discussion about pricing and payment options\, including ideas on how you can help your Scout fund raise for his trip\nA Q&A with the Philmont Organizer Pete Lane\n\n
