DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED\nJoin us for the 1st BSA Mayflower Council SCOUTStrong 5K and 1M Fun Walk\nDate:  Saturday\, October 14th\, 2017\nLocation:  Solomon Pond Mall\, Marlborough\, MA\nHighlights:\n\nPlenty of parking\nScenic Country Roads\nChip Timing\nUnique Custom Medal to all registered participants\nAge category awards for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place\nCustom Shirts for all register participants (size guaranteed if registered by October 1st)\nPost Race party with food\, beverages\, and music\n\n  \nSCOUTStrong Rules: \n\nRace numbers are required to take part in the race.  If you do not have a bib or running with another person’s bib\, you will be disqualified from the race.\nPhones & Other Audio Devices – We recommend that you do not use iPods or other audio devices during the race.  Choosing to use an audio device will compromise your safety and that of others.  If you are unable to hear verbal instructions or commands\, approaching vehicles because of your device\, you may be asked to relinquish it.  Please use consideration and good judgment in this area.\nStrollers are allowed but must start at the rear of the start.\n\nTIming Information: \n\nChips will be attached to your race bib\, your will receive at packet pick-up/registration on Saturday morning starting at 7:00am\nYour bib must be worn at all times or you will not be scored in the event.\nChip Timing is provided by Second Wind Race Timing.\nLive Race Day Results:\nHD Camera recording participants\nFinish Chute\nTiming Clock\n\nRace Awards: \n\nCustom SCOUTStrong awards will be given to ALL registered participants of either the 5k or the 1M Fun Run/Walk\nAge category awards for the 5k run given to 1st\, 2nd and 3rd in the following:  0-10\, 11-17\, 18-25\, 26-30\, 31-40\, 41-50\, 51-60\, 61-70\, 70+\n\nRegistration Information: \n\nPacket Pick-Up/Registration begins at 7:00 am – 7:45am\nBibs and Shirts will be handed out\nSponsorship’s available\nOnline registration\nCost:\n\nEAGLE Sponsor:     $1\,000.00 – Premium-sized logo on race shirts\, mile markers\, start or finish line sign\, and advertising in race promotions. Includes 5 free registrations to the event.\nLIFE Sponsor:         $500.00 – Logo on race shirts\, mile markers\, start or finish line sign\, and advertising in race promotions. Includes 3 free registrations to the event.\nSTAR Sponsor:       $250.00 – Logo on race shirt.  Includes 2 free registrations to the event.\nSCOUT Sponsor:    $100.00 – Name printed on race shirt.  (This can be family name\, unit name\, company name).
