SUMMARY:Walk For Hunger
DESCRIPTION:The Mayflower Council will have a Team!\n  \nA unique opportunity for units to participate in the 2019 Walk For Hunger.  Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger is the longest-running community event in the country that raises awareness about hunger and funds to support programs across Massachusetts that help residents access food! \n  \nEach participant will receive a special Mayflower Council Walk For Hunger Team T-shirt.  We will register all attendees under the age of 18 as participants and any proceeds left from our registration fee will be donated to the Walk For Hunger. \n  \nAs this is a council sanctioned activity\, this walk will qualify for the requirement 4\, 15 mile hike for the Hiking Merit Badge. \n  \nRegistration begins at 6:00 am \n\n5K run begins at 7:30 am\nWalk will begin at 8:30 am. (3 miles or 20 miles)\n\n \nPlease register your Scouts BSA or Venture Crew as a unit. \n  \nT-shirt pickup will be on Saturday\, May 4\, 2019 at the Canton Service Center (8:00 – 10:00 AM.)
