The Mayflower Council will have a Team!
A unique opportunity for units to participate in the 2019 Walk For Hunger. Project Bread’s Walk for Hunger is the longest-running community event in the country that raises awareness about hunger and funds to support programs across Massachusetts that help residents access food!
Each participant will receive a special Mayflower Council Walk For Hunger Team T-shirt. We will register all attendees under the age of 18 as participants and any proceeds left from our registration fee will be donated to the Walk For Hunger.
As this is a council sanctioned activity, this walk will qualify for the requirement 4, 15 mile hike for the Hiking Merit Badge.
Registration begins at 6:00 am
- 5K run begins at 7:30 am
- Walk will begin at 8:30 am. (3 miles or 20 miles)
Please register your Scouts BSA or Venture Crew as a unit.
T-shirt pickup will be on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Canton Service Center (8:00 – 10:00 AM.)
